We're Here to Help
We are committed to empowering young women who have faced trauma, instability, neglect, or involvement with the juvenile justice system by helping them rediscover their value, rebuild their confidence, and successfully reintegrate into society with dignity and direction.

Our Mission
Donna’s Haven exists to provide safe housing, life-skills development, mentorship, educational support, and empowerment programs that prepare young women for independent and productive futures.
Through structure, guidance, and meaningful opportunities, we help each resident develop the emotional resilience, confidence, and practical skills necessary to overcome life’s challenges and break generational cycles.

Our Vision
We envision a future where every young woman, regardless of her past, has access to the support, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive.
Donna’s Haven strives to become a leading community-based organization recognized for transforming lives, strengthening families, and helping vulnerable youth build sustainable futures rooted in confidence, purpose, and hope.

FOUNDER'S STORY
Donna’s Haven, Inc. was founded with one mission in mind: to create a safe haven for young girls ages 13–18 who are impacted by trauma, instability, family disruption, foster care involvement, or juvenile justice placement. The founder understood firsthand what it meant to see young women carry emotional wounds while still trying to survive, grow, and find their place in the world.
Throughout years of working closely with people in crisis, underserved communities, and vulnerable youth, the founder saw a heartbreaking pattern — many girls were being labeled as “troubled” instead of being understood as hurt, neglected, unsupported, or simply lacking guidance. Too often, these young girls aged out of systems without stability, mentorship, life skills, or hope for a different future.
Rather than turning away from the problem, the founder chose to answer it with compassion, structure, accountability, and love.
Donna’s Haven was created to become more than just a transitional home. It was designed to be a place of restoration — where young women can feel safe enough to heal, empowered enough to grow, and supported enough to believe in themselves again. The organization’s guiding message, “Bruised, Not Broken,” reflects the belief that a difficult past does not define a young woman’s future.
