Donna
In Memory Of
Donna's Haven was founded in 2026 to honor the extraordinary life and legacy of Donna Jean Williams—a devoted wife, loving mother, faithful woman of God, and a living example of resilience. Raised in Washington, D.C., Donna's early years were marked by hardship and adversity. She understood what it meant to face obstacles, navigate difficult circumstances, and persevere when the odds were stacked against her. Yet she refused to allow her circumstances to determine her future. Instead, Donna chose faith over fear, hope over despair, and purpose over pain. Through unwavering trust in God, steadfast love for her family, and a heart committed to serving others, she became a woman of remarkable strength, grace, integrity, and compassion. Her life demonstrated that true character is not formed in comfort but refined through perseverance. Donnas’ Haven exists to carry that legacy forward by empowering justice-involved, at-promise young girls to recognize their own worth, embrace their God-given potential, and build lives rooted in resilience, accountability, faith, and purpose. Just as Donna overcame life's challenges with courage and dignity, we believe every young woman has the ability to rise above her circumstances and create a future defined not by her past, but by her promise. At Donnas’ Haven, Donna Jean Williams' legacy lives on in every young woman who discovers her strength, finds her voice, and chooses a path of hope, healing, and purpose. May Donna Jean Williams' legacy continue to inspire generations of young women through the work of Donnas’ Haven. Our vision is to create a future where every young woman facing hardship has access to hope, healing, opportunity, and a strong support system. Donna’s Haven strives to become a leading model of empowerment, transforming lives, strengthening families, and building communities where resilience becomes legacy and every young woman has the opportunity to thrive.
